I was at a crossroads in life when tragedy struck. As a former children’s allergy nurse, I lost a dear friend and colleague to cancer, and it deeply affected me. Amid the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were asked to join the Intensive Care Unit team, stepping into uncharted territory. Little did I know; this experience would not only test my resilience but also set me on a life-changing journey.
During my time in the ICU, I witnessed the devastating impact of the pandemic. The funding for my asthma diploma came through three years later, so I worked 12-hour days while studying for it. It took a toll on my mental health, and I realised I needed help. I sought therapy and began focusing on the positive aspects of my life, including my relationship.
As my relationship grew, I began to think about marriage and encouraged my partner to take the next step. I got my wish and, in July 2021, we became engaged! I came across a prediction from a psychic, one that seemed almost too good to be true. I was told I would pass my driving test, own a house, get married, and have three children. I was also told I would leave my job and go into something else, and that whatever I pursued would be very profitable…
Unfortunately, life threw me a curveball and my engagement ended. Heartbroken and uncertain, I was forced to start over. But as they say, the only way from rock bottom is up.
A psychic had told me I would work with crystals and that I had a lucrative business idea! That’s when my colleague at work said, “Your name is Crystal… you should be working with healing crystals!” I visited a crystal shop and discovered the healing power of crystals. It was in that moment I found my true passion and purpose. That’s when Crystal’s Healing Lights was born—my business that combines recycled glass bottles, chakra lights, and the transformative energy of healing crystals into one.
In June 2022, I made the bold decision to leave my nursing career behind and dedicate myself fully to my crystal business. The journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to confront past traumas, start therapy, explore my psychic abilities, and find my target audience. I’ve questioned my path many times, but I stayed the course. Business coaching became an essential part of my growth, boosting my confidence and providing valuable guidance. As I learned and grew, I began networking and collaborating with others, like Melanie Ashley of Clarity Yoga Shala, where I gave an in-person talk on creating sacred spaces. I participated in exhibitions and fairs, appeared as a guest on podcasts, and was featured in Entrepreneur Prime Magazine and Dharte’s Fashion and Lifestyle Blog. I also got my products into shops and became a recommended wedding supplier for Eastwell Manor.
Through the healing power of crystals, I transformed my pain into something beautiful.
